Hoje decidi que o post não será concentrado em cosméticos ou em nenhum produto de bebé, também decidi que não iria falar de mim, mas de algo em que acredito e que gostaria de ver partilhado convosco e por essa razão, o post estará apresentado também em inglês.
A União Europeia deu um prazo até 2013 para que todas as companhias de cosméticos parassem de vez com os teste crueis em animais que não se justificam de maneira nenhuma, especialmente nos dias que correm, com tanta tecnologia e inovação e possibilidade de testar os seus produtos de outras formas mais humanas e até bem mais baratas. No entanto, a UE está a pensar em cancelar esse prazo e talvez ainda o estender por mais tempo, e o que me preocupa é que animais continuaram a ser massacrados em nome de algo futil como a beleza. Sei que todos queremos estar no nosso melhor, e no dia d´hoje a imagem é quase tudo, mas é egoísta sacrificarmos vidas inocentes que em nada merecem os maus tratos que recebem e as condições desumanas a que passam diariamente em nome de algo como a beleza. E quando digo cosméticos, digo também, produtos de limpeza e até comidas, bebidas e por aí a fora.
Estes animais, não têm necessidade de se "aperaltarem", são inocentes fazem parte do nosso mundo e nós como seres humanos, como seres "superiores" temos a responsabilidade e dever de os proteger e não de os destruir em nosso nome. Cabe a nós sermos os seus protectores, cabe a nós darmos voz a quem não consegue falar por si mesmo, proteger e estima-los.
Assinem a petição que PETA está a fazer correr online neste momento, para que a nossa voz seja ouvida em nome dos mais fracos, juntos conseguimos fazer a diferença, temos que lutar por um mundo melhor, mais justo e mais responsável. Por nós, pelos nossos filhos, pela nossa biodiversidade e pelo nosso planeta!

I know you all want to be at your best, and the day of today, image is almost everything, but it is selfish to sacrifice innocent lives that in no way deserve the abuse they receive and the inhumane conditions that are daily in the name of something like beauty. And when I say cosmetics, I say also cleaning products and even food, drinks and so on.
These animals have no need to wear make-up, they are a innocent part of our world and we as human beings, as a "superior" being have the responsibility and duty to protect, not destroy them on our behalf. It's up to us to be their protectors, It's up to us to give voice to those who can not speak for themself, protect and cherish them.
